Working/ showing in France

The Residency at the Maison de Gravure has meant that I have been hard at work for the last 2 months on and off , talking about my work and making it alongside all the other Artists that use the Atellier, and today I was asked to show in The Sud Estamp exhibition here in Montpellier to be The Artist to show at the Maison De Graveur. That was a great moment for me to be finally accepted and appreciated here.  Also to be written about in French ! thank god  I dont have to do the translations and i’ll have something written by a French speaker.

Another Gallery in Aubusson the Gallerie Des Marches has also offered me a show next month – so it looks like things are finally changing for me here. Now I have the problem of who will come to the private view ! and my opening speeches – which is the norm here , everyone has to give an introductory talk ,  often after the mayor or some other local Art patron … not all cut and dried then yet.
