First Braille Prints Jan / Feb 2016

Etchings with braille and florescent card. Originally these were taken from old postcards that i found in the markets in France. Often depicting vowing platforms I’ve made several versions of these playing around with various words and song lyrics which i put into the image but punching holes. These holes use the braille code ( reversed ) on the back. Originally titled Songs of Nature as I wanted to put songs into braille in the work. These are on gong since late 2016 and have evolved into single words or titles of the work being punched out into the paper.
